Q: What data rate does this Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cable support?
A: This Direct Attach Copper (DAC) cable supports 400G with OSFP connectors.
Q: What is the maximum cable length?
A: This cable supports lengths up to 500m.
Q: When should I use a Direct Attach Copper versus an AOC?
A: DACs are best for short-distance connections (typically under 5m) within a rack or between adjacent racks. They offer lower latency and cost than AOCs for short runs. For longer distances, consider an AOC.
Q: What applications is this cable designed for?
A: It is suited for AI Data Centers, Data Center Interconnect, High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
